1. What is the MGM Rewards MasterCard?
MGM Rewards is the loyalty rewards program for MGM Resorts International casino properties. As part of this loyalty program, MGM Rewards offers the MGM Rewards Mastercard. With the MGM Rewards Mastercard, you can turn everyday purchases into points that can be redeemed for Slot Dollars and MGM Rewards Points to use towards rooms, dining, and entertainment.1
2. Can I use the MGM Rewards MasterCard to deposit into my BetMGM gaming account?
Yes, the MGM Rewards Mastercard allows you to deposit funds into your BetMGM gaming account. These purchases earn you 1 Point and Tier Credit for every dollar spent on BetMGM.1
3. How do I fund my account using MGM Rewards MasterCard?
- Log in to your account
- Go to the 'Cashier' tab and select 'Deposit'
- You will now see the MGM Rewards/Mastercard logo. To select this deposit option simply click on the icon
- Enter or select your deposit amount and bonus code (if applicable). Add the card number, CVV2 number and expiration date, and then click on 'Deposit'
- The next screen will indicate whether your transaction has been successful or unsuccessful
- If the transaction fails, you will receive an error message with the reason for failure
- If successful, you will receive the message 'Successful Credit Card Purchase' and a unique transaction ID that you should keep for your records
- Close the window and return to the lobby. The update to your account balance should not take more than a couple of minutes. If your balance has not updated after two minutes, you may need to log out and log back into your account
4. Are there any fees when I use the MGM Rewards MasterCard to make a gaming deposit?
There is no annual fee or cash advance fee² for using your MGM Rewards Mastercard to fund your BetMGM account. A BetMGM Deposit made with the MGM Rewards Mastercard is treated as a purchase¹. For new applicants, please refer to the Summary of Credit Terms for important information on rates, fees, costs, conditions and limitations. Existing customers can refer to your Rates and Terms Schedule provided when you became a cardmember or by signing into your account at card.fnbo.com/mgmrewards.
5. Is it safe to provide my MGM Rewards MasterCard information?
All cashier transactions are processed adhering to Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards for data security, using a 128-bit encryption that ensures the safety and security of the data transmitted. This state-of-the-art protection is the same technology used by major banks and financial institutions all over the world.
6. How long does it take to get the money transferred into my Account?
Funds are credited to your account instantly after the transaction processing is successfully completed.
7. Could my MGM Rewards MasterCard transaction get declined?
Credit card transactions can be declined due to various reasons. The most common reasons have been highlighted below -
- You have exceeded your credit limit.
- You have submitted incomplete or incorrect information. The name, address and/or telephone number you enter must match the details the credit card company has on its records.
- You have entered an incorrect Card Number or Expiration Date or CVV2 security number (the three-digit code on the back of your credit card).
8. Which currencies can I deposit using the MGM Rewards MasterCard?
Deposits using the MGM Rewards MasterCard are in US Dollars (USD).
9. Can I earn Points and Tier Credits for my spend on the MGM Rewards MasterCard through my BetMGM account?
Cardmembers will earn 1 Point and Tier Credit for every dollar spent on BetMGM purchases using the MGM Rewards Mastercard.1

1. I have not reached my deposit limit. Why am I unable to make a deposit?
It’s possible that you may have reached the limit based on a deposit you made in another state. All BetMGM deposits are included when we apply the Responsible Gaming Deposit Limit to your account. The total of all deposits cannot exceed the limit that you have specified.
2. Why is the deposit time displayed on the Payment History page different from the time I made the deposit?
All deposits are displayed in EST (Eastern Standard Time).
